Consultation & blood tests
Testosterone blood test — home kit or venous draw
Book a 30-minute information consultation to understand your options. Then choose the blood tests and laboratory method that suit what you want to follow.
Blood tests
You decide what is measured — and how often.
You do not have to wait, stay in the dark, or depend on a local doctor who talks you out of a hormone panel or has already refused to measure it. Testing has become far more accessible and affordable, and you can now take control of exactly what you follow and how often you follow it.
From order to ongoing monitoring
1 · Order & discount
Choose your markers and confirm the order. You then receive a discount code and a link to the laboratory's website.
2 · Clinic visit
Once your purchase is confirmed, you can show up at one of the many partner clinics across Denmark, where the blood sample is taken.
3 · Results
Your results are released digitally within a few days.
4 · Specialist in the EU
No referral and no waiting list. You order the test yourself. A specialist in the EU reads it with you if you want it handled now. Your own doctor can still see the result. A prescription follows the consultation, and only when treatment is indicated.
5 · Monitoring
Repeat the relevant markers at agreed intervals so any change is seen early.
All blood-test packages
Click a package to see what it is for. Each package has its own page with all parameters, preparation and Q&A.
🇩🇰 Available in Denmark only: the blood sample is taken at a Celto location in Denmark. You need to be in Denmark for the sampling. For a TRT consultation, the first blood test can instead be taken locally in your own country.
How it works
From your first conversation to ongoing monitoring — this is what to expect at each step.

Pre-consultation
Thirty minutes on which markers to order, what the numbers mean, and how a specialist in the EU reads them. The blood test does not wait for that conversation.

Blood tests and clear results
Choose venous sampling at a clinic or a home finger-prick kit. Your results are released digitally within a few days after the laboratory receives the sample.
- Venous blood test in Denmark or a home kit with prepaid return
- Results for every parameter in your chosen package
- Accredited laboratory analysis
- Results can support further medical assessment across the EU

A specialist in the EU
No referral. No waiting list. You order the blood test yourself. You decide who reads it. Your own doctor, if you want them involved. Or a telemedicine physician in the EU, if you want it handled now. We put you in contact with that physician. A prescription follows the consultation, and only when treatment is indicated. Men typically come here for reasons like:
- Their doctor refused the test, or never offered it.
- They are not waiting months for a slot.
- They want the number in hand, not another “it is probably just age.”
- They want a physician who works with hormones.
- They want to act this week.

Product and preparation
If a physician starts treatment, the preparation is selected according to your physiology, lifestyle and preferences. The physician issues the prescription, and commonly used preparations can usually be collected at your local pharmacy.

Ongoing follow-up
You and your doctor follow relevant blood markers, symptoms and quality of life over time. Medical communication remains directly between you and your doctor.
Blood tests
- Do I need my doctor to approve the blood test?
- No. You order the panel yourself. Men typically come here for reasons like these: their doctor said no, they will not wait, or they want a hormone specialist in the EU this week. Your own doctor can still see the result. That is your choice, not the way in. A prescription follows a consultation, and only when treatment is indicated.
- Have the lab methods just changed?
- No. In the Janus Serum Bank, blood from men aged 40–49 had been frozen for up to 29 years. Gislefoss et al. (2012) ran it on both an immunoassay and LC-MS/MS. The oldest samples were substantially higher than fresh ones. Storage breaks hormone down, so it would have made the old numbers lower, not higher.
- I have a number. What now?
- Put it next to your symptoms, not next to a laboratory’s “normal for your age.” Zitzmann et al. (2006) saw the first symptom links around 15 nmol/L. Sexual symptoms become more common below about 11–12 (EMAS, Wu et al. 2010). A specialist reads the two together.
