The price in brief
Private TRT with NordicTRT is paid as a monthly package. The package includes hormone analysis and consultation, and prices start at approx. €62 per month (DKK 460). The start-up costs DKK 1,400 (approx. €187) and covers a one-hour doctor's consultation reviewing your blood test and health. Treatment is only started if it is medically indicated, and the doctor makes that decision.
The blood test for the first consultation can be taken locally in your own country.
How the process works
The process follows the same steps every time:
- Blood test. Choose your blood test here and add broader health screenings if you like. See blood tests and hormone packages.
- Result. You receive your values, and the doctor reviews them.
- Doctor's consultation. One hour reviewing the blood test, symptoms and health.
- The doctor's assessment. Based on your symptoms and the numbers, the doctor assesses whether there is an indication and whether TRT can relieve the symptoms.
- Plan and prescription. If you agree on treatment, the plan and the prescription are discussed.
- Follow-up. Continues on an ongoing basis.
What do add-ons cost?
Some men need more than standard treatment. When indicated, add-ons may apply for:
- individually compounded medicine, for example a different concentration, carrier or composition
- treatment of hereditary hair loss (androgenetic alopecia), either for a current indication or as prevention
- weight loss or a lifestyle-change programme
- intensive follow-up: if you have another condition or a particular risk profile, a more intensive programme can be added and may in some cases be necessary
Add-ons and individual options are discussed with the doctor when indicated.
